Within
Looking out from the in it is hard to see
Other people's joy and other's misery
Focused on no one but yourself
It's like being put up on a shelf
Looking down upon other's feelings
Leaving your own inside and not seeing
Not wanting anymmore hurts, you hide yourself
Letting everyone else clean up the mess
Unable to fight for fear of rejection
You tend to lose loved ones in the end
Come out from your technicolor shell
Let the ones that love you see you are well
Do not hide anymore from the pain
Don't let a thing bother you like rain
People do like you for who you are
They see you like a brand new car
Ready to take on the world real fast
All you need is just a little gas
Gas from within can help out a lot
Knowing for yourself it is not a plot
Take your hope off of your shelf
And back in the grateful heart of yourself
