Watching
I watch you breathe
Silent and deep
Not wanting to blink
Your soul I keep
You give so much
With just a touch
I do not deserve such
I don't need a crutch
That is what you've become
I am no longer able to run
You aren't anymore fun
And weighing on me like a ton
To be rid of you would be sweet
To be able to use my own two feet
Not to be around you as you sleep
Or for anytime that you speak
