Crash
I feel as deflated as a helium balloon
Floating down from the sky too soon
It flew for awhile, and looked happy and gay
Shimmering in the sun with it's reflecting rays
I saw it slowly drifting downward today
Disappointed it couldn't stay aloft and stray
Not wanting to see it come to its end
Sad for it's ride had been taken
My life is like that poor wafting balloon
Drifting in and out of the sky like a loon
Slowly flying up so happy and delighted
Then crashing down to the ground
Taking small leaps up, yet to fall some more
Eventually so tattered and torn it can't fly anymore
