A Story
Simply put forth in an appeasing manner
From the inside looking outward
Faith was elicited from the trudgeoning hammer
Pounding down amidst the ranks of the discord
The pulsating rays nourished their weary souls
All have taken an oath to not give up the fight
Knowing how long and arduous was the haul
Yet as happy and joyous as anyone in sight
From my view I can see the homely gazebo
Mixed into the labyrinth that lay ahead for them
Almost as if it were a safe haven that was unknown
But in my heart I knew it would be reached in due time
Hoping and praying endlessly for their safety
Continuing to see the struggles that they faced
As heartbreaking as it tended to be
The joy they gave me can never be replaced
Looking out upon the transparent lives before me
Them never knowing that anyone was watching
As they continued the climb through the mazes
Strong forces lead them in their astronomical marching
From my view I can see it now and forever
Taking the long journey must be something worthwhile
Otherwise it would never be endeavoured
All for nothing or so it would seem but a smile
