Crushed
Dead and lifeless on the ground
Hearing no single sound
A tear falls from my eye
The Gods give no reply
Anger rises up in my soul
Trying to take control
Why does this happen?  I ask
Is there a point to this task?
Tired of all the ignorance
I cry out in my own defense
Affected by things I can't control
Insanity has too strong a hold
Someday I will lose the sanity I keep
Searching for handholds while I seek
For death is a somber fact of life
It causes me too much stress and strife
I stare longingly at the corpse on the dirt
Crying inside for the soul that got hurt
