Blue
Beautiful sky above me so blue
Misted with clouds, about one or two
The horizon is dotted with trees
casting down shadows upon its leaves
the sun dropping behind has bid adieu
leaving the glorious sky with a beautiful hue
rimmed with colors that one could imagine
the sun drops behind the spotty horizon
now that the day has left us behind
we can only hope the night will be kind
for as it is Halloween night as it comes
dreary and dank it will soon become
hopes that ghosts and goblins will come
dream that witches and ghouls will haunt
seeing that glowing orb of a moon
watching it watch us squeamishly below
the stars will not have their usual twinkle
there may even be a hint of a sprinkle
to everyone below to let us know that the night rules
and there is nothing we can do
