Sleep
Exhaustion has come upon me
Leaving me with no choice but sleep
Welcoming any chance to shut down
With no thoughts anywhere around
Peaceful slumber is not an option
For the dreams will come with a passion
Taking over where the thoughts die
Possessing me where I lie
One night is all I ask for
To be silent and peaceful forever more
But I know it will not take place
As I begin to doze and lose face
