Serene
A beautiful sunset slowly fades to night
The colors blend together into a gorgeous sight
Above the crashing waves I see plenitude
Glowing across the sky with such a multitude
The mixture of the hues from the sea and the air
Calm into one sight that is so debonair
The sub-night breeze along with a salty scent
Waves the dark lonely palm trees until bent
Light and flimsy they swing like daisies
Slowly and airy they look so lazy
A beautiful sight to behold it's true
I love the beauty that makes it you
A sky that is too lovely to gaze
A sea that is much too serene to play
A long, long beach that never ends
Passes along as the sun gracefully descends
