Downpour
The sweltering heat has been diminished
By the sheets of rain that have descended
Pelting all in its torrential path
Wreaking the Gods tormenting wrath
It hits me with such driving force
I cannot take this anymore
I try and run, but there is nowhere to go
Left in the open for the downpour
I decide to just sit and wait it out
But I have this feeling it won't let up
