Down
As I sit here waiting
Silently contemplating
All the feelings I keep
Bottled inside me
I draw a deep breath
From my innermost depth
And begin to realize
You aren't coming by
Thoughts of hatred ensue
All because of you
But it will turn against me
The blame will not let me see
Instead of hurting you
I knife myself through
Easier to do than one might think
As I lean into the edge of the sink
Watching the splatters fall down
With nothing on my face but a frown
